Hi, I’m Sam — owner of Finewood Carpentry & Building.

My passion for building started young. What began with Lego and school woodworking quickly grew into a career, stepping straight into carpentry and building after school. Over 15 years later, that same drive to create and build properly still guides every project I take on.I started Finewood with one clear goal — to build the right way. No shortcuts. No rushed work. Just solid, precise craftsmanship delivered to a high standard the first time.

Over the years, I’ve learned that true quality lives in the details. It begins well before the final touches — in the planning, the structure, the measurements and the discipline to execute every stage with care. That mindset carries through every deck, kitchen, bathroom, fence or custom timber feature we build.

Working with homeowners across Sydney, I focus on creating indoor and outdoor spaces that are practical, durable and thoughtfully finished. Whether it’s an outdoor entertaining area or a full renovation, every project is approached as if it were my own home.
